Dedicated vs shared cores

Dedicated

The cores are reserved for your VPS alone (VDS). You can run them at 100% load, 24/7 with no performance degradation — performance is deterministic, your workload never affects other customers, and theirs never affects you.

Shared

Burstable performance. You get full speed in bursts, but the physical cores are shared with other VPS on the node. Sustained 100% CPU on all cores isn't allowed — constant heavy load affects other users on the same node, and we may limit it. Great value for spiky workloads; pick dedicated cores for constant compute.

Bare metal

A whole physical server. Every core is yours with no virtualization layer and no neighbors — run anything, at any load, around the clock.

Shared (cPanel)

Web-hosting accounts share the server's CPU. Suited for websites and email, not for sustained compute — for that, pick a VPS with dedicated cores.
